Hello! Folks, I am panicking about BEC. I am currently using Becker CPA Review, and am through B4, out of B6. My test is December 3rd and I am frustrated that I can not remember all the formulas. Based on the AICPA blueprint, I question if it is worth getting worked up over. With that said, becker does not offer Audio notes. My commute is about 40 mins each way and I would like to utilize that time studying. What company has good audio notes? I have heard a lot about Ninja audio, is that an app I can download? I am not looking for a new full blown course, just some supplementary materials. Audio notes would not help with formulas, but would help my mental state-which has huge impact on test results. Thank you and good luck folks!

It's really between Roger and Ninja. Roger's audio is just the crash course converted to audio. Which is useless when he's doing math problems and says “add this and this to get this”.

Ninja audio kind of covers the topics that will for sure be on the exam.

    Both are in MP3 format.

I agree with Turo here. I have used both NINJA and Roger audio (for FAR though not BEC) and they are both good. Both cover the most important stuff. For the conceptual stuff I enjoy Roger's stuff more but his audio is pulled from his cram so you hear him writing and he does say “this” or “add these two” or things like that sometimes and it can get a bit confusing. I have his Cram too so being able to watch the corresponding videos helps. As far as the NINJA audio, I have the BEC version but haven't checked it out yet as I just started studying BEC last week but I used it for FAR and found it better in a sense that it was more obviously intended to be audio so no writing pauses and “this” kind of thing. I didn't feel as engaged as I do with Rogers stuff though. I am not sure if you can buy just audio for Roger's to be honest but maybe consider doing a free trial for both those programs and then going with whichever suits you best. I tried the NINJA audio before I got a month of full access. Another plus for Ninja is its only $67 for a month so you can pay for a month, get your audio and notes and stuff, use the videos if you want to supplement your main program, have access to more MCQ and SIMS, then cancel it at the end of the month and you aren't out a ton of money like buying a whole other program. Good luck with whatever you decide 🙂

Also, you could record yourself reading out notes on stuff you have trouble with and then listen to that on your commute. Thats a completely free option if the others don't work for you. Because I am an auditory learner this is a trick I've used in the past many times.
