Do you just hit the button and look or pace around for hours before plunging in? I will either have one part left or screw my whole FAR 3 month studying schedule up with a BEC retake. The anxiety of looking at the score kills me. For those that have followed my posts, they know I have trouble checking the scores. I had my wife do it last time. Not sure of my checking approach this time. If Ifall, I will be devasted because I gave it 96.74% this time. I decided that if I fail BEC I will take a 5 mile walk barefoot before telling my wife and kids, this way I will release the steam and not act like a baby. The pain will remind me to give it 110% instead of leaving a part to chance. Then I will get some sleep. I study from 4am untill 7am every day thats my schedule and much more on weekends, it’s getting old. I have told noone I am taking the test except my wife and kids so I dont have the added pressure. I wish you all 75’s.

    Reg 11/15/2011 - 80
    Aud 02/28/2012 - 81
    Bec 05/31/2012 - 78
Far 08/31/2012 - 83 Do you believe in Miracles, YES !!!

I totally understand where you are coming from. I started studying June 1st of last year and I used to get up at 4am to be at the office around 530-6 to start studying. I did that for 6 months until I my busy season hit. I am waiting on my last score, but I definitely was more anxious for the BEC score to since I had failed twice before. Nonetheless, I still hit “Score” every hour since the past two grades I have gotten showed up a day or two earlier than the release date. Good Luck to you as well!!!!!!

    FAR- Waiting

    AUD- 75 PASSED

    REG- 68,81 PASSED

    BEC- 65,69,78 PASSED

I feel your pain. I am having trouble eating, sleeping, or enjoying friends. I have 3 exams on the line. It's so much for my body to handle. I'm doing whatever I can to stay calm. This is as or more painful than taking the exams. UGH!

And, yes, just hit the button. No use in torturing yourself. B4 you do though, take 3 or more deep breaths, releasing them slowly. Gather your head. Make sure you are ready.

Good luck! May God be with you! ^_^

This week has been very bad for me. I am having so much anxiety and I've already started not sleeping. I am praying to give myself the strength to not check my score at work on Thursday and wait until I get home where I am “safe.” I don't work on Fridays so I'll have all of Thursday night and Friday (plus the weekend) to regain composure, worst case scenario.

Givemesleep, I started not telling anyone except my husband (kids are too little to understand) and my mom, but my first test was January, 2011. As the last 1.5 years passed, more people just found out. It's still not too many people though. But there is the added pressure that I'll pass. All I want is a 75. Seriously.

    REG - 80 (Becker only)
    BEC - 76 (Becker only)
    AUD - 71, 76 (Becker only)
FAR - 65, 74, 81! (Becker, Wiley Test Bank, Ninja notes & Audio)

    CPA Class of 2012 🙂

Despite whatever plans I have, when I see the posts start flying around here that scores are coming out, I start hitting F5. It's just who I am.

There's a lot more than normal riding on this test for me. At some point this became less (or not at all) about this test and became an endurance test. Life gave me it's worst over the last two months and I gave it back my very best. If I win, then it proves out my family's motto of ‘Never Quit'. If I lose, well I gave it my sincere all and put the time and honest effort in.

Bottom line, I really need this exam. Not for the reasons of being one part away…for the reasons of overcoming some longshot odds.

The next two days will be a long couple days. As the scores get close, my confidence in my exam wanes. May God be with me on that day, come what may. It will be an emotional one either way.

I'm already having insomnia and staying up until 1 AM watching bad television! On top of that I'm in CA which has 1 update at 5 AM each day, so if scores get released on Thursday, CA board of accountancy won't update until Friday. You better believe I'm not going to need an alarm to get up at 5 AM on Friday morning! Fingers crossed this is my LAST exam…

I don't even bother to look until I hear first wind on the interwebs of someone's score being released. Once that happens, it's fair game to take the day off to F5.

@littlenumberrobot Your posting made me curious so I went to the CA board of accountancy website on my iphone. No app, but I did bookmark the log-in page to exam applicant accounts and it does save my username, so I only have to type in my password.

Sigh, that means I can lay in bed now look up my score at 5 AM instead of booting up the laptop. Not sure if that's better or worse. At least my near hear-attack level palpitations will be shorter now since I don't have to spend the time booting up the laptop.

@DesperatelySeekingChupcabra haha yeah I know the feeling. I was going to try and wait until I went into work, but I am not patient enough. I won't be sleeping well anyways.

I REALLY REALLY hope I could pass this one! There are SO many people at work know I took the last part, and it seems they are more eager to know that I do…I don't really know how to tell them if I fail… it would be so humiliating if I fail this one…:-(. As days go by, I keep thinking the chance of passing getting smaller and smaller. I hate being in Texas during this waiting period!

I can totally relate. This is my last exam and everyone in my company knows that I took it. They keep saying that I passed, but it makes me sick to my stomach when they say that. Days leading up to the scores being released, I can't eat, I can't sleep, and I begin to cry as I log on. I tell myself to breath and that everything is going to be okay. As I click on the “status” tab, my heart always sinks. I live in CA so I have to check the CA Board of Accountancy. If it's blank in the “Status Info” then it means two things 1). I failed (please NO!) or 2.) Score is still pending. I finally breathe when I scroll down and see score is pending. If I don't pass BEC, I have one more try before I lose Audit. I was not confident at all walking out of BEC so I'm praying for a miracle. **Cross fingers** I just need a 75!!! Best of luck to all of you :))))
