are there lots of calculations on the BEC exam? I have a week left before testing and don’t know what calculations to focus on.

I have taken the BEC exam twice. Both exams had about 5-6 calculations per testlet, but were VERY basic. Maybe I got lucky. I got a lot of conceptual questions that were not easy. I left the exam thinking I spent so much time working calculation problems at home and they really showed up infrequently on the exam. What messed me up was the WC. they were on topics that were NOT BEC.

I definitely had more conceptual questions. The calculations were quite basic and heavy on variance analysis. Definitely, expect one or two complex, multiple steps calculation questions but majority might be conceptual. Good luck

I had many calculation questions, this past January. The other times I took it, I saw few calculation questions.
