do you guys know whats the % of Calculation vs. theory/defintion questions in actual BEC exam

seems like becker focus a lot on calculation questions and ninja focus more on theory questions, that's why I asked.

It really is a mixed bag.

I used NINJA MCQ pretty heavily for BEC and passed on my first attempt. Completed over 4,000 questions and hit the review stage. Average in the 80s and trended in the 90s.

@Jackobe24 I agree with okcpa2015 it's really a mixed bag. I want to say it was about 40% calculation vs. 60% theory. You really have to prepare for everything on this thing so definitely study both theoretical questions and the calculation questions…definitely know all your formulas, even the obscure ones you think you'll never get. There is one “not frequently used formula” that I got in 3 different questions. However, there were other things I wasn't strong in so back to the drawing board for me…

When I took BEC last year, I remember the exam containing more theory questions and not having very difficult calculations. This time around, I had about an equal mix of theory/calculation and the calculation problems required a little bit more work to complete.

It really does vary, which is a frustrating aspect of this particular section.

It varies wildly from person to person.

I took BEC in February of this year. A bunch of us who took it around the same time all reported that we had a TON of formulas and calculations. I remember mine was something like 40 to 50% had a calculation involved. But the people who had taken it in January all were saying that theirs was very concept heavy with very few questions.

Just like every other portion you really need to know everything. You are pretty much guaranteed to see questions on your weaker subjects if you try and take shortcuts.
