In my experience, CA and WA are usually some of the first to turn around. Other states tend to follow hours or even a day later… But, it's a good sign that states are coming out in general. Keep your eyes peeled!

Has anyone else from FL tried the loophole today? I'm just curious if anyone was able to see the box greyed out in my home state.

    REG 79 (Becker); BEC 63 (Becker) 70 (Yaeger); AUD 66 (Becker; 11/30 - Becker); FAR 11/24 (Yaeger/Wiley)

Hi – This might be a silly question. If I pass all 4 exams, but I don't apply to be licensed, do my scores ever “expire”?

I mean can I apply for a CPA license after 10 years using the same scores?

    Thank you.

    BEC - May 8, 2010 - 83
    FAR - July 20, 2010 - 75
    AUD - Aug 27, 2010 - 76
    REG - Nov 20, 2010 - 88 ALL DONE!!!

They do expire, I believe it depends on the state. In VT they expire after 15 yrs I think… I hope you would never wait that long… are you concerned about the experience requirement?

    BEC: 73,81(7/6/2010); AUD: 75(5/24/2010); FAR: 76(8/31/2010); REG: 77 (10/18/2010) - DONE!!!!

    Trevor,

I work in industry. I am not sure if it is worth my money to be licensed and pay for association dues and continuing education.

I also have no idea how I transfer my scores from DE to WA. I applied as a DE candidate, but need to be licensed in WA.

    BEC - May 8, 2010 - 83
    FAR - July 20, 2010 - 75
    AUD - Aug 27, 2010 - 76
    REG - Nov 20, 2010 - 88 ALL DONE!!!

    @CPAChi-

I'm in IL too and have been on ALL morning at work. I thought for sure the scores would come out this morning, but nothing yet. “ChiGirl” just posted about an hour ago that she called the IBOE and they claimed they hadn't received the scores yet, so who knows.

I gotta think that it could be anytime though. Let me know if you hear any news.

I tried the loophole and got this message:

We are sorry. Currently all sections of this exam are still in process. Please call the number below.

If I scheduled REG for November and I am waiting for BEC score (only tests on NTS), does it mean anything?

    I know nothing about this…

    Undergrad - May 2010; Masters - August 2010
NY Candidate, Becker, Start w/ Big 4 in January
    AUD (4/15)-91; FAR (7/26)-85; BEC (8/28)–87; REG (11/3)– 92

Anyone from VT know when we will be getting our scores? Also, has anyone from VT tried the loophole?

I am from NY, if the scores were released by the AICPA today to NASBA – then isn't it possible NASBA won't release them until monday night? Why is everyone assuming they will come out tonight at 10 PM or so?

@ hcsab – NASBA starts uploading the scores the day after they are released to them. The scores were released yesterday, most likely late, so they will post tonight (or tomorrow for some).

    REG 79 (Becker); BEC 63 (Becker) 70 (Yaeger); AUD 66 (Becker; 11/30 - Becker); FAR 11/24 (Yaeger/Wiley)

@Study, I work at a publically traded company… I work in the tax department and although I am not 100% the board will approve my experience I am fairly confident. Also I know that most departments have a budget and they will cover the costs for you to maintain licensure. I would most definitely check into that, as most people find it beneficial to have a “CPA” on their staff… As far as the transfer of credits I would get licensed in DE and then transfer to WA, I believe the process is not too bad as long as WA does not require any additional stuff over DE (150 credits vs. 120…). You have come this far, check into everything. Another thing to keep in mind is that you can find 3 credit CPE's for $75…

    BEC: 73,81(7/6/2010); AUD: 75(5/24/2010); FAR: 76(8/31/2010); REG: 77 (10/18/2010) - DONE!!!!
