    I live in California and I've been checking my online profile with the board daily. I took the FAR exam in late August. Do I receive my scores via mail, email, or do I just continually check my online profile with the state?

    I live in CA too, and you have to wait til all BEC scores posted first before you expect any FAR, AUD and REG scores. I believe you can check your state board account, note: AICPA releases the score to NASBA first

    Does anybody know if Illinois posts scores on Saturday if the AICPA realeases the AUD scores on Friday afternoon? The AUD forum is pretty quiet and this is why I am asking the question here.

    FYI…AICPA doesn't tweet about scores…only NASBA does that.

    Even if you miss NASBA's tweet, people on here will keep you informed for sure.

    @gabitza – I do believe that IL is one of the states that does release scores on Sat. morning along with CA

    BEC: 73,81(7/6/2010); AUD: 75(5/24/2010); FAR: 76(8/31/2010); REG: 77 (10/18/2010) - DONE!!!!

    @gabitza

    Yes. I'm in IL and last score release a few weeks back, AUD was released by the AICPA late on Friday. On Saturday I checked all morning on the IL website, and it finally posted around 11am or so. My first test (FAR) was posted before 6am, but that was a weekday. Not sure if the weekend vs. the weekday has anything to do with the exact timing, but I know last window I did in fact receive my AUD score on a Saturday.

    @Trevor – Thanks so much for your input.

    @SFCPA13 – Is good to know that somebody from IL actually got the AUD score on Saturday when AICPA released on Friday. I really hope AICPA will release AUD this Friday afternoon and IL will post the scores on Saturday. Can't wait!!!

    Good luck to both of you with your scores. It looks like all 3 of us will take REG in the next window. Hope I'll see you on the REG forum.

    @SFCPA13

    I noticed you used the Gleim review for FAR; any pointers? I am using it as well and am scheduled to take the exam late october.

    BEC - 60, 71, 79
    AUD - 73, 66, 87!!!!! Yes! I am done!
    REG - 74, 76
    FAR - 75

    Yaeger Review for all except my last AUD score (Roger)!

    @sbd2

    I think the best part of the Gleim review is the Test Prep software, which gives you thousands of questions to practice. I basically followed the Gleim suggested study plan online. After my initial pass through all of the units, I went back and did a second, quicker run through of the units and took periodic quizzes along the way using the Test Prep software.

    For the week or so before the exam, I hammered out 1,000+ MC questions and reviewed notecards that I had made. I found it helpful to make 3-4 note cards for each unit with main points or things that require memorization.

    I chose to focus more on the MC than the SIMS–I tend to agree with Jeff that the MC concepts carry over into the SIMS, and the MC are worth more overall points so they're the most important to really nail. On my FAR exam, I felt like I nailed the MC and bombed the SIMS (mostly due to lack of time, not a lack of preparation). Practicing all of those MC questions are what saved me.

    Good luck!

    @SFCPA13 – thanks for the pointers! I was thinking the same thing. That's basically what I did for BEC and felt that it worked (hopefully it did!). I was really thinking that an extra prep software like Yeager would be beneficial but I don't want to pay any more than I have to. I guess I will see later this month how I feel about the material. Thanks again. Hopefully we will get the NASBA updates soon.

    BEC - 60, 71, 79
    AUD - 73, 66, 87!!!!! Yes! I am done!
    REG - 74, 76
    FAR - 75

    AUD - 82
    REG - 94
    BEC - 84
