Just really started getting into BEC but I took Aud last Saturday. I can definitly say that having Internal Cotrol knowledge from my Audit studies really helps with that first Corp Governance chapter in BEC. It essentially eliminates the need to study for an entire module and that module is worth close to 18% of the exam. Obviously i did the letures and will continue to review the MCQ but i really knew the material right out of the shoot.

    FAR 80
    REG 76
    AUD 85
    BEC 85
    Ethics 98
    DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A good chunk of the IT lecture is just audit with spooky IT words.

There was a quote I saw on one of the techy sites I read “People who stick “cyber” in front of things because the internet is involved need to be slapped.”

The same thing holds true with BEC and AUD. Just because computers or computer doesn't mean it needs special attention. The same things we learned in audit apply in a computer environment and the goals are still the same.
