I just took the BEC section of the exam (my very first part), and when I got to the written communication area, all three questions were very easy. The multiple choice leading up to that were difficult in my opinion, however. This isn’t a bad sign is it?

@PursuitofCPA, mine were very easy too =/ I feel like people who scored really well, their WC's didn't make any sense or were on subjects not covered in BEC. I hope this isn't true. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm not trying to be discouraging at all, I can just relate to how you feel.

Ah I can see that for sure. Without a doubt my WC were easy. You gotta let me know how you do.

In my opinion, the WC's I saw were ridiculously simple, and I felt adequately prepared by my Wiley self-study book — and I passed with a decent score.

I think the prevailing theory is that the WC's aren't testing knowledge as much as they are testing your ability to string a few sentences together that are on topic.

So I wouldn't worry if your WC's were easy — they're testing something other than knowledge there.

Ok good because I really felt like I did well and when I talked to most of my friends that passed this section, they explained their WC was simple as well. Well thanks for the words guys hope your endeavors are coming along okay!

My WC's problems were easy. I couldn't even tell whichwas pre-test. Second and third were the same topic, is that normal?
