Hey gang,

I’m taking BEC on March 10, and just looking for a bit of advice on how to prepare for the Written Communication tasks. I’ve practiced a few of the Becker examples, but would just like to hear some others’ experience on how they rocked them. 🙂

I’m purely using Becker.

1st paragraph, basically rewrite what they are asking you to write, 2-3 sentences
2nd paragraph, layout support facts, 4-5 sentences
3rd paragraph, layout another supporting fact, 4-5 sentences
4th paragraph, close it out, 3 sentences

key is to write to the point that is being asked of you. At least two times use the phrase they are asking you about.

Yes, start like this:

To: xxxxx, XYZ Company
From: You, CPA Candidate

Finish very last thing under your last paragraph:

You, CPA Candidate
