Hi everyone- I was just wondering how you typically set up the beginning of your written communication. In all of my practice materials after the question, they have written the

    To: President

    From: CPA Candidate

with the box for your part of the answer below it.

Normally when writing a memo I would also include an Subject and the date.

Do you suggest rewriting the To: and From: along with the Subject and date? Or, do you think it is better to just start in Dear Mr. President?

    Thanks!

I would start writing in my memo at that point but I would think if they are scoring on accuracy that putting Dear Mr. president is a little redundant since you have the TO: above your text box. I am not sure if my way is the best way though.

Just write your memo. Don't worry about salutations and closings, since they are already written in. Just go straight into your memo. Intro, middle, brief conclusion. Boom.
