Hey everyone,

So… Just how hard are these written communications? Considering they are only worth 15% of the exam, I haven’t really practiced any of them yet and my exam is in 1.5 weeks. I’m almost done with all the lectures and I’ve been scoring relatively well on all my MCQs. I figure as long as I’m doing well in those areas, I can wing the communications. I consider myself a solid writer, and I watched the communication tutorial to educate myself on what they expect. Any advice from people that have taken BEC?

No need to worry and there's nothing you can prepared for. Because the topics are pretty random, it's pretty much the idea of good paragraph structureing and using proper grammar. Hey, I m Chinese and my eng sux I admit, I scored stronger on wc that led me to passing this exam…don't worry

Hint: be humble on the wc, say sth like u thank them for giving chance to BS on the memo!

I agreed with kobebryant168, don't waste your time on WC, i spend all my time in MCQ and only looked at the WC tutorial the day before the exam, and I passed on my first try. Just do as much MCQ as you can. WCQ could be anything.

Thanks for the advice. I definitely plan on focusing on the MCQs.

I agree. I studied the mc for a day and took the exam just to try in the previous window. I did not even look over tutorial and i was stronger on wcs on my performance report. I aid not feel like they graded the content- just the format and grammar.

I didn't study at all for the WC. The day before the exam I just read a few of them out of the Wiley book. I passed 🙂

If you know the material by working MCQs you should be able to wing the WC.
