I have recieved mixed instructions in terms of whether or not I will need to write anything at all for the greeting/signature on the written section. My understanding is that this is pre-poupulated and that I will solely need to focus on the actual content? No need to write greeting/signature? Can somebody confirm?

For the memos that I had, I just wrote the memo itself and I did sign it with any name that you think of, followed by the title given in the fact pattern of the writing assignment.

I put something along the lines of “Dear xyz, blah blah blah;” however, apparently memos shouldn't contain said introduction. Needless to say, I passed BEC with an 84.

Just make sure you keep using keywords. So if the question is “what financial ratios are good,” put down…

Financial ratios are important to a company because…

This financial ratio does that, this one does that.

In conclusion, I love financial ratios and you should too.

Basically, in this case keep using the word “financial ratios.”

I did not include a greeting or signature in my WC. I followed the way that the NINJA sims were written and made sure to repeat the key points/words in the intro. I don't think it matters as my score report showed “Stronger” for WC.

I just took BEC on 12/5 (don't know if I passed yet – hoping I did) but I used Roger to study and I did what he said – addressed it “Dear ___” (whatever their title was) and signed off “Sincerely, CPA Candidate”. Hope this helps! 🙂
