    Hi All,

My first BEC exam is scheduled in the first week of Jan 2013.

Please give me any helpful advice on how to prepare the WC for BEC? Any sample questions for WC?

I've been using Wiley Books and Test Bank to study for my exams and have been happy thusfar with my results. There are a number of WCs in the book that also have sample answers. Most answers seem to be 3-4 pararaphs in length with clear and concise writting (no “fluff”). It helped me to get a feel for what they might be looking for in an answer, but I am still feeling uneasy. I am also enrolled in a prep course taught at a local university. I am hoping my professor will grade a few of my attempts so I can get some feedback.

    AUD: 97
    REG: 86

    FAR: 5/2013

I personally didn't study the written section much at all for BEC. I found a few samples on Google and just read them to see how the AICPA wanted things addressed. You do not have to be 100% correct on your answer. The main thing is grammer and format. As long as you address the content of the questions and have proper formatting and grammer I beleive you will be ok.

    BEC - 80
    REG - 89
    FAR - 80

Can I tease you for misspelling grammar twice Sequin? 🙂

Definitely re-state the question in your answer and use the terms in the question in your answer. The computer is looking for certain terms, so those are easy points to get.

I also read through the questions and answers in Wiley book as they provide you with a good idea of how to set-up your answer.

Thank you so much for all the reply.

I found that the Becker Review says, they will not assess the quality( correct/incorrect) of the contents in the WC test.

    Does everyone trust that?
