Hello all,

Am using Gleim for BEC. They have chapter/sub topic called “Currency Exchange Rates”, and Mitigating Exchange Rate Risk” folks using Ninja, and Becker – are these topics part of your syllabus? I know that Gleim has some additional topics that are not in Becker and Ninja. Any clarification will be helpful, and really appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I'm using Gleim. Per the Knowledge Transfer Outline, “The AICPA has been testing the topic of currency exchange rates on recent CPA exams…” I've been successful in using Gleim in all 3 sections (all one shot) by covering all the topics, so covered or not on other materials, I will definitely not skip any topic. Gleim is very good in explanation of answers so if you don't like reading the book or watching videos, do the MCQ's in study session, at least.

I was always weak on thay topic even though I was using Gleim. Good thing I don't travel out of the country otherwise I would probably have to declare bankruptcy after just ordering lunch from a foreign country. LOL!

I am currently using Becker for BEC and they are both included, but they seem like afterthought additions to the last chapter that covers a lot of different topics.

Either way, its in here!

Good to know they said its been tested lately, I was going to just skim it and move on!

*if i dont pass, i lose FAR.

Study materials: Becker videos/MCQ/Books, NINJA Blitz helped to finally pass AUD and REG.

First exam was in May 2013, seems like so long ago - FINALLY DONE!!!
