Ok, so this morning I went and took the exam. Testlet 1 was moderate, feel I did well. Testlet 2 was really tough and had my hands full. So, i’ll make a minor assumption that Testlet 1 went okay. Testlet 3 was moderate again. The writing went well to grab those points at the end.

Any thoughts or similar situations ever? How was the outcome?

I also took BEC today. First testlet was easy-moderate. Second and third were moderate-hard. Had enough time to go over most questions and had 1 hour for WC. I hope we passed!

My BEC experience was easy, hard, easy. Writing was fine. Came out passing.

Were there any curve balls with the written communication. The last time I took BEC seems like the written section were on FAR topics which is difficult to answer if you haven't taken FAR.

i took it last week and it was much more difficult than i was expecting. for the writing sections, i was under the impression it was less about what you wrote and more about how you wrote it.

AUD - round 2 11/01/12

@zerohedge – yes I've always heard that, but I've always found it difficult to write on something I don't know anything about. Overall, it's a pretty hard exam even though it's the shortest.

What part of the exam did you think was difficult? I thought the calculations were more direct with less curve balls than Becker passmaster. However, some of the concept/theory questions were pretty tough. If anyone else has an opinion, please feel free to chime in!

I took BEC on Friday. Testlet 1 went fine, but I thought Testlet 2 was extremely difficult. Testlet 3 seemed more on the same level as Testlet 1. So overall I'm not really sure how to gauge how I did. When I took AUD and REG I never had such a drastic change in difficulty from one testlet to the next. So I'm in unchartered waters here. I have heard that the BEC test is not adaptive? Any truth to that?

Thanks for the clarification guys. Either of you know people that have passed with such volatility between the three testlets? It just worries me a bit because my first two exams (REG and AUD) difficulties were not as noticeably different between the testlets.
