I am going to start studying for BEC after failing three times. I previously have used Becker, and I have heard many people say that anyone can pass the CPA exam, you just have to know what you are doing wrong. So here is my plan:
I am going to spend 1 hour a day reviewing sections 1,2,and 4(Economics and IT) in Becker. I am also going to use the online Wiley questions for these sections which I have not done before. I am pretty good in these sections compared to the other ones. I feel that this will reinforce my strengths.
I am also going to spend another hour a day working on sections 3 and 5(Cost and financial Management). I definately need to work on the concepts and I am terrible at the problems. These are always problems for me. I will only re watch the lectures for these sections since I am so bad in them.
I will also use jeff’s Ninjas notes, and I shooting for at least 15 – 20 hrs a week for about a month and a half.
So what do you guys think about this plan? Any tips to help me pass will be appreciated. Also, how many MCQs do you normally do a day? Thanks.
