I've read several posts while I was a member of the Q3 REG group that said their exam scores were almost in sync with their Ninja MCQ average and I'm here to say that I'm now a true believer now that I've received my final grade from the REG exam that I took on 10/6. While my REG trending score was 75%, my average was 61% and my exam score is 63%.
While I'm utterly disappointed and feeling as though the best thing for me to do is to crawl up in a ball and wallow in my own self pity for a week. I've opted (like most of you who've experienced a similar defeat) to power on by working harder, building a stronger average, and learning from my previous mistakes–rather missed opportunities.
Now, I'll go share the news with my wife who's been so supportive and not to mention taking on mostly all the household responsibilities while I head out to the office every weekend to study for hours so that our 2yr old doesn't interrupt or break my concentration. Uhhhhh, this is such a set-back but the fight goes on!
