Thinking Becker is right on this one…Ninja is calculating as follows….

    (990,000 + .15(990,000))/500=2,277

Here we are using the BEP formula….the BEP formula is BEP=(Total Fixed Costs + Targeted Profit)/CM per unit….the problem I see with this is that we don't know that all the 990k is Fixed costs….all we know is that these are the costs and profit margin should be 15%….The Becker solution seems to make more sense to me….just my opinion…

Black, Inc., employs a weighted average method in its process costing system. Black's work-in-process inventory on June 30 consists of 40,000 units. These units are 100% complete with respect to materials and 60% complete with respect to conversion costs. The equivalent unit costs are $5.00 for materials and $7.00 for conversion costs. What is the total cost of the June 30 work-in-process inventory?

    Select an answer:

    A.

    $200,000

    B.

    $288,000

    C.

    $368,000

    D.

    $480,000

Good stuff, but getting a 90% on that operations management section on Ninja is almost impossible LOL. I really have NO idea where half those questions come from. I did increase by score from a 56% yesterday to a 68% on new questions.

It is C, and yeah I'm in the 60s right now. The audit questions are the only ones I never miss since I just took that test LOL. There is a lot of crossover material between the two subjects. This week I'm going to read my notes and do tons of MCQs. After that I will go back and read the material one more time from the Wiley book and officially start my final two week review. For this subject I believe doing as many questions you could do is the best thing.

Go to custom, click simulations, and then click the left of the topic and then the sub-topics for that section will pop up. Like click on the operations management section and you will see performance measures and cost measurement. Some topics over lap, but overall it is fine.

That's not bad because it is not hard to get 12/15 on the written portion. I got weaker because I had a FAR question and at that time I had no idea how IFRS worked.

Since you still have two weeks to go, the scores will only get better as you get closer to the exam.
