anyone else using Becker struggling with the B4 MCQ? some of these seem to come from out of nowhere.

BEC is going okay so far. I got through the first part of B3 and it was a piece of cake, going to do the second half of the lecture tonight and questions allllllllllllll weekend. I think with some repetition, I'll be able to do this exam and score pretty well. Not getting cocky, just trying to obtain some kind of confidence. LOL

Same here NJ…did you just take audit or am I mistaken? Your screen name looks familiar from the AUD study group….I've gotten through all of becker and all of Ninja. Trending score on Ninja is 77%…I've got 2 weeks to get it up to 90%. Again…trying to keep confident haha. We got this!

Just to get things moving…I took Cost I and II in college, but, if you don't use it, you lose it. Can someone break down absorption vs variable cost methods and their effect on NI? I see a lot of questions regarding that

@Gabe – Absorption puts more cost into inventory because it includes OH. So, if inventory goes up, less cost will be shown on the income statement. If inventory goes down, more cost will be shown on the income statement. If it stays the same, then absorption and variable costing will result in the same net income.

@rzrbkfaith – i think that should be refined a little bit.. isn't the main difference FIXED OH? If I'm not mistaken, Variable OH is included in inventory for both, but fixed OH is not.

I did a little last time but really didn't give it a good chance…maybe a couple hundred questions is all. I just did all the corp governance questions and scored around a 93%.

Oh ok. Nice. I hope it helps out. I have done a little over 100 questions and am not scoring great but hopefully it will improve. I hope to do a big chunk this weekend. I am trying to take notes as I go.
