I started Becker a week early (on purpose)…now working through all NINJA MCQs…plan on taking 2-3 weeks and nailing MCQs and topics I am weak on

CPA, CFE
CISA- Experience will be completed by August 2016

The company is using a predetermined overhead rate based on direct-labor dollars

where Manufacturing Overhead = 2 x direct-labor dollars (Any value you get here is estimated or predetermined and would be compared with the actual)

Three jobs where started i.e 150, 151, & 152 and incurred a total direct labor amount of $9000

Therefore Manufacturing Overhead Applied = 2x 9000 = $18,000

Manufacturing overhead over/under applied = Applied – Actual

18,000- 20,000 = (2000) underapplied

Knowledge of key information technology risks.

Knowledge to evaluate fraud risk.

Knowledge of information technology audit techniques.

Knowledge of financial reporting.

This one is tricky. Anyone care to answer? Please explain why.

So I'm half way through BEC, CH 3 wasn't easy but I'd take this Financial Management stuff over Cost accounting any day of the week! Does anyone else think chapters 1 and 2 were the most difficult, or is it just me?

^^ yes they are the most difficult for me and my score report from my current test reflected that. Hoping to improve on all subjects in becker Chapter 1 and 2 before my retake.

Does anyone have any tips or sources for better clarrification on Corporate Governance? I have read through it in Becker multiple times, redone the homework and feel like I understand it. However, it was one of my weaker areas on my last test and I have started the Ninja MCQ and have already noticed I am getting some of the corp governance questions wrong. Thanks!
