    Super Quiet in here. I'm taking July 10. Who else is taking it next month? I'm using GLEIM. Currently on chapter 12. Expect to be done with the book by next week.

    I plan to sit in July.. only problem is I need a Saturday test because I start working on the 9th of July. hopefully I will be able to find an availability as weekend dates are very slim at all of my local testing centers

    Cost accounting is beating the crap out of me… it's just so weird and there are so many formulas to keep straight. Can anyone relate or give advice?
    Doesn't help that I cannot focus this week while waiting for score release :/

    This feels like it will be a dumb quesiton… But I'm in the financial management section and one sim using TVM the WACC was the right percentage and another sim the cost of borrowing was used for TVM. I have no idea of how to know when to use which one. Can someone explain this?

    @AF,

    I hear you!! I just got AUD (95) and FAR (90) as well. I'm having trouble with motivation and slogging through Gleim isn't helping. I've finished SU 1+2 and 12-20. I'm starting Econ today and since I'm not sitting until 8/6 I'm still doing pretty well on time

    Where you at?

    I am taking my next exam on July 30th for BEC!

    The exam topic that keeps me awake at night is all the finance in chapter 2, there's just so many crazy formulas.

    One study tip others might find helpful is to read the material on your own after watching the lecture and before doing related questions on that topic. It has really helped me to better understand the material.

    Good luck everyone!

    @benj2017 I'm just going in order. Through Chapter 14 so far. I've done maybe 10 sims combined for FAR and AUD, so don't think I'll really do any for BEC either. Just going to hammer MCQs and make sure I am comfortable with the sim tasks described in the blueprint. If any are questionable, then I'll do a couple sims on it. I think MCQs are significantly more efficient use of time.

    First post on this forum – congrats to all that got passing scores today. Thus far, I have passed AUD & REG.
    BEC is my next exam and scheduled for Mid-July. I would like to take FAR in Q3 as well.

    My biggest BEC concern is the written portion. If anyone can share tips on that, I'd greatly appreciate it! Happy studying! Lets do this!

    @AF,

    I definitely have hammered my share of MCQs on the exams I've done, but I also practiced a bunch of SIMS to avoid exam day stress and save time. I tend to get a little overwhelmed when I have a bunch of info to process at once, so getting used to the SIM format prior to testing has been pretty helpful and made me efficient when testing.

    Some of those Gleim MCQs feel like small SIMS too with all the information they are packed with….

    I am using Becker to study and the COSO and ERM frameworks have a TON on mnemonics. Does anyone know if we actually have to memorize all 17 and principles?

    I am taking BEC on 8/6. I am struggling with this material. I dont like it at all. I have listened to 5 out 6 lectures with Becker, and nothing is clicking. I feel the lectures are so fast, and have not been enough for me to grasp the material. I plan to finish lecture#6 today, so I can start doing MC from now until Aug 6. I hope this is a good strategy. I only have BEC left, and I really want to pass it from the first time. Can you guys share your studying strategies? Are you using Becker/Ninja? Or something else. Will Becker/Ninja suffice to pass?

    I took the BEC in early JUNE and I feel like I failed it. I used roger and it didn’t prepare me well. Actually I didn’t study well. The calculation was hard because the wording in variance. I Feel like the material that they updated for q2 is very heavily tested, in multi choice and writing too. I should’ve spent more time memorizing those instead of equations…
