Hey, I'm cktaylor. I'm still waiting for my application to be approved by the CBA so hopefully sitting for BEC in August sometime.

For Jeff's giveaway:

When are you taking your exam? I'm looking to sit in August if approved in time.
What exam topic keeps you awake at night? Honestly I try not to think about this at night lol but the PV and FV formulas definitely present a challenge for me.
One study or career tip others might find helpful. My advisor told me that studying and going over MCQ's repetitively would help me understand the concepts better. I'd have to agree; memorizing how to do problems is more valuable to me than memorizing concepts. Being able to apply those concepts in a problem is what helps me lock it into memory.

I'm studying with Becker but I'm stuck with B2 and B3…the other sections are doable for me, but those sections are killing me right now. It doesn't help that Angie Brown talks too fast and stresses me out when I hear her voice for some reason… She talks eloquently…but she needs to take a breath so we can catch up with what she's saying. She can rap part-time with the amount of words she can say in one breath at that speed.

anyone else get stuck with B2 and B3 and any davice on how you conquered it?

Sorry if this is out of place, but anyone know why my scores on NASBA have a note next to them saying, “score will be available until Aug 15”?
my score haven't been posted on my state board website yet :/

@Zrula they're not kept on nasba for long but should be posted to your state board soon. It's nothing to worry about! You have your scores for the 18 months 🙂

Anyone else genuinely confused as to how BEC is considered the easy one? There are so many formulas and randomness to this test and I'm having a way more difficult time getting through this stuff than any of the prior 3. I thought after FAR this would be a cakewalk but I'm having a much more difficult time…

My goal this week is to write down all the BEC formulas and get to memorizing!

My study goal this week is to wrap my head around the topics under economics. The macro and micro material confuses me and I need to master it!

My study goal for this week is to hit each section of bec in Rogers along with re-enforcing those sections in the evenings with ninja flashcards and additional multiple choice questions. Any additional time will be used to update and rewrite notes.

My goal for this week is to speed up my studying. I think I've been dragging my feet with BEC because I hate the material, but I want to get this test done before Sept. I think I can do it if I hunker down!
