Hey guys just took my test earlier today, of course I have been analyzing how the test went for the last 6 hours. The testlets went easy, extremely hard, easy, the sims were ok nothing of a big deal. I felt I knew every answer for the testlets 1nd 3 but didn't know any of the 2nd testlet. This was my last test or I have auditing and BEC left, will wait and see for August 4th, either way it is nice having 3 weeks of with no studying!!!

Hi all – I just purchased BEC NINA MC. I must be missing something.. I received the confirmation email that says “Your order is complete – download your files” however, I can't figure our how to download.

Can anybody help here?

Okay if the program should not have been tested by the programer then why is that not a violation of segregation of duties?

A user noticed that the accounts receivable update program was not providing a listing of outstanding accounts. The user asked a programmer to modify the program so that the report would be generated with each run and had the request authorized by change management. The programmer obtained a copy of the program and made the required changes. She then tested the program in the test environment and was satisfied that it worked correctly. The programmer returned the program to the system librarian to return it to the production library. Which aspect of this process violated a proper segregation of duties?

A.A user made a suggestion for a program change.

B.The system librarian released a copy of the program to the programmer.

INCORRECT C. The programmer tested the changes in a test environment.

Correct D. The system librarian accepted the program into the production library after it had been tested by the programmer.

Explanation: The system librarian should only accept a modified program that has been properly tested by someone independent of the programmer to make sure that no unauthorized changes have been made.

Mckan – I think that it was probably ok that the programmer tested it, probably to check his work, but I guess the issue is that it wasn't ok that it was the only test done. The violation in the scenario was that it wasn't tested by an independent party and that the librarian didn't catch it, breaching the duty?

However, in real life, the librarian would likely not be a real person … is this becker? Their IT is stupid outdated.

Need some advice – I am in a study rut. I have a lot of time because I am not working, but my kids are home for summer and I find that they are demanding of my time (9 & 1 year old boys). I am totally off any resemblance of a normal schedule.

I got 74 in Q1 and 74 in Q2 and this is my last exam. I am very familiar with the material and have been doing pretty good on the recalling the parts I have studied.

I know that above all I just need to sit and do it. However, since this is my 4th time studying (third time in less than 6 months) … should I just skip the lectures, do the MCQ, and go back to the book for any trouble areas?

I have never been successful studying without the lectures, but I do not know if I can really gain any further knowledge from them at this point. They are kind of a crutch for me, I guess.

I don't want to fail again. I still do not understand why I failed last time. As I am reviewing I am remembering calculations I had on my exam and I am fairly confident that I got them right … so I am super frustrated, confused, and jaded to boot!

Any suggestions?
