Thanks Spartan. It's very helpful. I just have to remember, DSS is broader than EIS.

    Next question:
Who is responsible for the definition, planning, and control of the data within a database?
    Database Administrator or Data Administrator?

(I found my old notes confusing where I wrote: Database administrator is different from data administrator who is responsible for the definition, planning, and control of the data within a DB. I am not sure who's being referred to, the former or the latter? I know I won't forget that DB Administrator's function is more technical while Data Administrator's function is more administrative. )

Opps, I think I found the answer from NINJA.

It is the DB administrator. Dah.

AmorD, is it Data Administrator? I kinda remember these “people role” because I have a hard time understanding as well. The way how I see is Database administrator deals specifically with the database software but this is more than that…

My question: In competitive markets, an increase in an effective minimum wage will:
    a.
Have a neutral effect on the demand for labor.
    b.
    Decrease unemployment.
    c.
    Decrease the supply of labor.
    d.
    Increase unemployment.

I understand the logic for D. Like McD increased min wage to cut cost they will either increase prices of reduce labor. Hence, increase unemployment. Can someone explain C? Cuz they sound the same. If cutting the workforce should the supply of labor not decrease?

@Spartan, letter C is wrong because when the minimum wage is increased, the supply of labor would increase. In this situation, the suppliers are the laborers, not the employers. More workers would want to work because of the mandated minimum wage hike.

My two biggest formula issues at the moment are DuPont and factoring receivables. I think if I see questions on these it wouldn't be more than one each I hope and if that is the case the answer hopefully is C.

    Facts:
Application Programmers should not be able to change production programs. They should submit changes to the change control unit.

Question: Who is then responsible to change production programs? Is it the Systems Analyst only?

@trele, I know the formulas suck cuz there so many. Sadly, I can't recall the formula off my head.. There is the Dupont and then the extended DuPont ROE.

@aatoural, Outsourcing isn't necessarily out of the country. You could outsource a function of your company to another company within the country. That's why the answer is saying offshore operations is the better answer because it describes outsourcing to a foreign company.

    Hey everyone,

Finally decided to create an account and will be sitting tomorrow afternoon at 12:30! Extremely nervous about some of the exam portions. I think B2 is the section I am more nervous about…

Hi InkedAcct. I believe most of us are right there with you about B2. That entire chapter took me a week and a half to complete and I am still not confident with it.
    Anyhow – good luck tomorrow!
