I am sure you will do great Teal! Keep your chin up and just stick to your game plan. I am just hoping that I hit all of the target areas before Mondays exam

I have two days left to prepare for the exam. I have yet to practice a single written communication problem. Should I be spending the next two days prepping for those if my average scores on MCQ are around 65%? (I KNOW I'M SCREWED..)

I'm just starting this CPA stuff so I can't offer much advice but I'm there with you. I have a week left and am only half way through the material but I figured I may as well try to cram it in before the changes. From what I've read/heard it seems a lot of the points from the written come from writing skills, grammar, that kind of stuff. Not so much actual knowledge of the topic. Am I right on that or did I misunderstand?

If that is the case then I just need to memorize the format of memorandums right? all of the written communication questions are asking the candidates to write up a memorandum right?

The general consensus is that prepping for the WC is a big waste of time if your writing skill is some what passable. Just know the template for it and maybe look over a few good sample answers.

Unless your score is borderline, AI will mostly grade on the structure, grammar and keywords and not your actual knowledge on the material.

You're better off spending your time by just doing MCQ instead of doing writing exercises.

New Ninja here, native Tennesseeian. Thought I would drop a post out to say I'm a fairly fresh graduate with my Masters of Accountancy. Currently working, and getting my ducks in a row to start studying for the CPA with one of my closest colleagues/friends. We plan on taking the BEC first, and together. We both plan on using Ninja and Becker to prepare for all four parts. Are there any tips you men and women would offer besides what Jeff has already planned out?

Are the templates/structure of the WC portion usually in a memorandum format?

I'm struggling with B6 guys. It seems like alot of memorization. I didn't prepare for B6 to be that long.

Again, just going off of what Becker and other sources have told me but I think a lot of them are memo format but it can also be other things like an email or letter.
