    @jsn3004

I think they are getting into opportunity cost. If you don't take it, you are losing the discount. If you do take it, you are giving up benefit by having to borrow to pay early and pay interest on that loan. This isn't given in the problem, however.

For example, they may tell you, it's costing you 30% per year to borrow money to take the cash discount or something. Do you see my point?

I have one day left to study and while going through the lectures it seems ok but there's just so much to know. I just want to take the test and pray that I pass. So over this already.

So I go the list of formulas, so which ones are more important. Did someone memorize them all?

      It begins with a 75
Been here too long as a cheerleader....ready to pass

I think it would be counterproductive to memorize all the formulas. I would memorize the basic ones like NPV, IRR, Payback, current ration, quick ratio..

      Hi guys,
Can anyone help me explain this? The answer doesn't make sense to me..

Edwards Manufacturing Corporation uses the standard Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model. If the EOQ for Product A is 200 units and Edwards maintains a 50-unit safety stock for the item, what is the average inventory of Product A?

      A. 150 units
      B. 250 units
      C. 125 units
      D. 100 units

      A is correct.

      Thanks a lot!

Just took BEC this morning. It was ok. I finished the exam but some parts were more difficult then others. We'll see on results day.

      Reorder Quantity 200
Divide By 2 to Calculate Avg Inventory ÷ 2
Average Inventory Excluding Safety Stock 100
      Add Safety Stock 50
      Average Inventory Including Safety Stock
      150

Does anyone find the Roger MCQ's hard for BEC? In fact answering them in the so called “90 second window” is beyond me at my stage. Was wonder for those who have taken prior did they find the actual questions harder/easier than Roger or Ninja MCQ?

I have been looking over some Becker MCQ that I got my hands on, these just don't seem as crazy tough as Roger but then again I'm only 4 weeks in study wise so a bit frustrated for sure at this point but trying to keep from freaking out.
