    wow, I think you guys just saved me with the variances. I was really struggling to memorize them. The trick of AQ on price and SP on efficiency being outside the parenthesis has really made it all click. Thanks!!

    I have gone over cloud computing controls, COBIT 5, have read the entire IT chapter on the Ninja book, answered all the questions, have listened to the audio and taken more notes based on the mcqs and still I am dreading the IT questions from the exam. Dont know what else I can do at this point, not much I guess.

    The IT questions remind me of transaction cycles in AUD … They are hard to conceptualize without experience. I take my exam tomorrow, but I am planning on waking up with enough time to study for about 4-5 hours (lightly). My exam is at 1:30pm.

    @cortes I have gone through all the Gleim questions, so last night I bought NINJA MCQ with only 4 days till my exam Monday morning. I am going to go over as many questions in NINJA as possible and also try and do all the IT questions from NINJA. I don't know when your exam is, but maybe purchasing a MCQ bank between now and then JUST for different IT questions will help. Even between Gleim and NINJA I am seeing different IT terms I don't remember seeing in Gleim.

    Does anyone think Valuation Engagements will be tested heavily. Gleim covers 0% of this topic, but I have gotten 2 MCQ so far from NINJA.

    Wow, sounds like all of you will be better prepared for the IT portion than I will. I am re-reading Gleim, and I did Google COBIT AND COSO too, but I haven't gone in extreme depth. Am I screwed? I have tomorrow only (test on Sunday).

    Good luck guys! Hope you do great!

    PV and FV factors can be calculated as follows:

    Assuming 10% for 3 years
    FV = (1+.10) * (1+.10) * (1+.10)
    FV = 1.331 value for the 3rd year (FV = compounding 10% each year)

    PV = (1/(1+.10)) * (1/(1+.10)) * (1/(1+.10))
    PV = .7513 value for the 3rd year (PV = taking away or discounting 10% each year)

    For annuity factors I saw somewere a simple way to get them thru the calculations that I just did but cannot find it. Does someone knows it?

    @cortes I am 90% sure you won't have to calculate those values and they will be given to you.

    I hope cpagal :). I asked bc I think I saw them somewhere and remember thinking that it really wasn't difficult to get them, but did not copied them 🙁 I was studying for REG I think. Today I am going over little details and at night I am planning to review again major concepts doing some reading of the chapters and some mcqs on a Wiley book that I have(at least there I can look up mcqs that test the major concepts)

    When are you testing?
