HustlinHustlinMemberHi Rony – see my advice on the writing portion above.
To all you other brave souls who are trucking to be testing in the first week of October – keep it going! It will be worth it.
I'm not doing so great. I haven't met any of my daily study goals since I started. Today is the last day my boss is out of the office so I hope to get 2 in around lunch and then from 4-6. I need to stop taking such long breaks after exams, it really makes me lose steam. @ least 4 hours today, and maybe 5 tomorrow, spending all day Saturday in the office studying, and then 6-11am on Sunday THEN fun :).
Time to be hustlin'hustlin'.

nbad311MemberHustlin, I haven't met any of my daily/weekly progress goals either!!! I passed REG last month and was sooo motivated, then I got the “well I have time” feeling and started slacking….. and I need to stop! Work also totally d-teased me by saying “oh hey, if and when you have down time at work, feel free to study” and then proceeded to make it a point to fill all my down time with projects that don't need to be done any time in the near future. I rescheduled from 10/1 to 10/21.
REG - 65, 70, 80!
BEC - 35, 62, 79!

HustlinHustlinMemberI like you Nam. I especially like how I can tell you are over-caffeinated by the tone of your posts. I really don't understand how people do this exam without overdosing on caffeine on a regular basis, or how people have motivation for anything in life without caffeine.
Finally got my 4 hours in yesterday. I have 10 more to do in order to meet my goal for this week!!! Hammering them out tonight and all day/night tomorrow. Feeling much better about cost accounting this time around. I have been making screen shots of questions I get wrong and putting them in a word doc with notes of why i got it wrong – seems to be effective.
Maybe a few on Sunday morning but I am hosting brunch, watching the Niners and going to see Stone Temple Pilots, Deftones, Bush, and a bunch of other 90's rock bands – wooohoooo!

MrsBMemberI am 100 % done with lectures tonight and done with month end close 🙂 Finally!!! I was hoping to be done last week but I was pretty unmotivated. I try to complete 1000 MC questions per exam. I have completed 150 for BEC so far. My new goal is to get to 500 by the end of this weekend.
@Hustlin I hear you on the caffeine! I am completely addicted. Before FAR I only drank a cup a day. Now I drink a small pot and a starbucks esspresso drink just to get through this exam. I cannot wait to sleep when this is over!

silliepandaMemberOk soooo recap of the past VERY UNSUCCESSFUL WEEK: Work was rough, got sick, our pet got sick, then come to find yesterday our pet died 🙁 So this past week for studying hasn't gone too well. Thank goodness for an understanding fiance who will do whatever needs to be done to help me accomplish this! So the plan for today (I know I have been repeating this):
Finish the 20% of Chapter 6
Re-read Chapter 1 and Re-Do MQs
Re-read Chapter 2 and Re-do MCQs
This doesn't seem like a lot since I have all day, but I want it to be doable and if I get done I will move on! Getting so nervous I can't sleep good at night.
How is everyone else doing?
@Nam? How are you doing? The advice I got yesterday was .. just relax and breath … RIIIIGHT!!!!!
Happy Studying all!
BEC - TOO MANY FAILS TO LIST! July 2015 I WILL GET IT!
AUD - AUG 2015- NEVER PASSED!

HustlinHustlinMember@panda – so sorry for your loss 🙁 I'm sure he/she is rooting for you up in pet heaven.
Welp, went on a nice run, had breakfast, picked up my room a bit and I finally made it to the office. Browsing around for 5 minutes before starting my 7 hour marathon. I will be using Pomodoro to get me through today, 30 on, 5 off.
I am fueled with plenty of coffee and sandwich ingredients. Bring it on, B2.
I am ready for rainy and dreary. It is over 90 degrees here in Nor Cal. Oh well, it will make for a good day off tomorrow!

HustlinHustlinMemberCan someone help me understand why contribution margin per unit * number of units = fixed costs + operating income
I just can't wrap my head around it. If CM tells us how much we made over our variable expenses, why do fixed costs come into play?
