Which review course are you using? I used Becker and there were some really good tips in there. I write pretty well by nature and scored “stronger” in the area, but you have to remember to meet the objectives.
1. Rephrase the question in the first paragraph “This memo is to inform you of…”
2. Use key terms mentioned in the question and more you have learned in your studies
3. Use paragraph form with an intro, body (2-3 paragraphs answering the question) and conclusion.
4. Don't forget to “Sincerely….” (ect) and your name. I followed Jeff's advice and put C.P.A. after mine. 🙂
5. Spell check/grammar!
6.Don't freak out if you don't really know how to answer the question, do your best and write a well formulated response. There is talk that it doesn't really matter the content – just that you know how to write.
