So … I didn't meet my goal. The remainder of Chapter 3 I skipped for now because I feel I am running out of time, but I will go back to it. I have the 2nd half of Chapter 5 to do and Chapter 6. I don't know why when I write it down on paper it seems doable until it is time to complete! Time to get the coffee and get started!

Looking for suggestion on timing of retake –

I took BEC on 8/30 and got a 65. I am scheduled to take REG Nov 30 (NTS expires 12/1), but haven't started studying. I just ordered the BEC NINJA notes and audio and plan to spend a lot of time going through those and my Wiley test bank, especially on the 3 sections where I struggled during the BEC exam. I'd like to take BEC as early as possible so I have enough time to prepare for REG, but I can't tell if I am being unrealistic with my plan.

Any suggestions? Thoughts?

BEC rematch on 10/1

I am currently using Becker 2012 self study supplemented with Wiley test bank –

I have gone through chapters 1-5, currently on chapter 6… this chapter is really dragging…..

My goal is to finish chapter 6 tonight. Rest of this week and next will be dedicated to review chapters 1-6.

I am having the hardest time with BEC… anyone in the same boat??

Have a day off today going to try to finish watching all of my lectures. Hoping to make up for pretty much taking this whole weekend off. Hoping to get back on schedule for my exam! So far I am feeling mixed about the material. Some I get right away some I am really struggling with.

A - 61, 91!!

R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!

Finally done!

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

MOnth end and deadlines at work, And I am completely drained out when i reach home! I am not giving up and pushing myself !

@ddebzz i am having hardest time as well. not because subject is hard . It’s just Becker Cost MCQs are putting me off.

@ Forejar: Regulation requires at least 3 weeks, but it depends. I would say don’t rush with regulation if tax is not your area. the ideal time for regulation is at least 5 weeks. And are you talking about financial management in chapter 3? I am studying that chapter piece by piece . I am not performing so good with BEC mcqs ..

Today plan – FINISH economics with 90 mcqs..

BEC scheduled for 10/6. I pulled an all nighter last night on end of 5 and beginning of 6. This is much harder for me then REG was. You cant try to memorize you actually have to conceptually understand the theory in many area. Hardest for me has been variance, especially OH, Micro Economics, some of the Corporate gov in redentunt and thus confusing. Best way os listen to Olinto mark the notes, immediately read again and jump right into the passmaster. Dont panic if your not getting it all, you'll be surprised how it sticks in during review at the end.

Last though the Final review seems good but I don't have the answers to the MC ?? Does anyone have those. Ill pay!!

Well, things haven't been going as planned. I haven't met my daily hours goal since I started studying over the weekend. Sigh…Tried to get back on the ELL plan today, but I was out of coffee and had to take a nap after an hour…which lasted another hour. Going to do an hour at lunch and at least two at home if it kills me. I have an all-day engagement on Sunday starting at 11 am so I am going to have to get up early that day and not take a day off to get my hours in, and go to the office on Saturday to study. I really have got to learn to separate myself from my house when its marathon time. Boyfriend had some friends over this weekend and that totally ruined my study plan.

I wanted to be able to take the exam again beginning of Oct but that is approaching way too quickly and I just sent in my reapplication fees yesterday.

Finishing up those annoying cost accounting questions in B1, and quizzing until I am satisfied with the score….dreading B2.

I work in tax so I am hoping REG studying will go quickly. For BEC, yes, I am referring to Financial Management, Econ and strategic planning….on those 3 sections my score report indicated I was weaker. So I am focusing more on them.

@Nam .. I have no option but to push through the remainder of Chapter 3, 5 & 6 tonight. Chapter 3 I have 51% left to do, 5 20% left, and 6 48%. I am just so exhausted….this month is hard for me with work. But I can't afford (financially or personally) to take these again. What does your night look like? And what is your method .. you may have said previously, but I may have missed it. When you take notes are you typing or writing and are you doing notecards???

So far on schedule, but my exam isnt until 10/26. To be honest I havent really practiced the WC yet. I feel like I need to solidify my understanding the concepts first. For example, I have read the first 4 chapters, done notes, and started MCQ. I am a good writer(in my humble opinion…. well emails yes any thing more official/professional still learning). What have you all experienced in your studies?
