    @ceecpa, my test is on 10/26 and i am not ready at all I have not been motivated since i started on planning, control, and analysis. I don't like cost accounting and all the formulas. I am dragging myself… ughhhh..

    Alright guys I am in a difficult situation. My exam is scheduled for the 25th but I just started at a big 4 firm and the client I am on is filing so I am in “busy season”. I have been working from 8am to 10pm everynight. What is the best way to study for this because obviously I do not have a lot of time to put into it. Thanks for the help.

    Audit - June 2012: 80
    Reg - August 2012- 82
    Far- October 6 2012 - 71. Retake Jan 2013 - 76
    Bec- December 7 2012: 78

    @ceepa I'm in a similar situation I took this exam at the end of 2010 and passed with a 75, I'm finding the retake is stressing me out, maybe even more this time around! My only advise is pretend you never sat before. I had passed audit with at 83 in 2010 as well and thought I could get away with less studying that obviously didn't work since I got a 61 in the last window.

    I still don't feel prepared for this exam and I am sitting tomorrow at 8am, going to do a light review tonight and hope for the best I guess.

    A - 61, 91!!
    B - 78!
    F - 76!!!
    R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!

    Finally done!

    This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

    I feel the same way about Econ… there are only so many things they can test on that. I would move on. The refresh again right before your exam. Good luck!

    took the AUD section last week and finally finally have started studying! BEC on NOV 30th.

    just completed 1st hour of lecture with becker. will complete the lectures for B1 today.

    will the becker way work better or ninja way?

    lecture(section at a time)/ MC/ review/ MC

    My update: stuck in plg, ctrl & analysis. I have to finish today… :'(

    @ M: My suggestion, watch a lecture video, do MCQs, make notes/flashcards for wrong answers, review the wrong answers & go through the entire MCQs of the chapter. I did the same process & finished watching the entire lectures in 18days, then I've lot of time to revise & practice more and more MCQs – chapter by chapter. Good luck to you.

    Well, folks.

    I go into battle tomorrow at 3 p.m.

    Not feeling as confident as I wanted to, as busy season has really thrown a wrench in my studying.

    I'm trying to only work a half day today so I can get off and start my marathon final review.

    On one side I am leaning toward pushing the exam back. On the other, I know I can recall more than I can't about the detail of the lectures and what not. Plus, if I were to push it back, I wouldn't have enough time for AUD this quarter.

    FOUR MORE POINTS!

    Confidence is going to be my greatest tool….cross your fingers for me, folks.

    Any one else studying today? I'm doing MCQ's over and over today. Feeling stronger with Corp Governance. Moving on to IT and maybe cost accounting.

    Hello Group,

    Has anyone just began their studies on BEC? I have read the blogs and it seems like Becker chapters 1-3 are pretty rough. Any recommendations on how to tackle this one?? Have any of you tried study sessions using skype?

    Just took the exam on Saturday 10/20/12. Wow, I should said, all 3 part of testlets are supper hard. Majority of them are at least 3-4 sentences long, and few are more than half page long. You HAVE to know the concept for the topic and MUST understand them really well. I was planning to save at least 60 mins for the WC since I am a slow writer. But since I am running out of time, I only did two out of three. I really have no feeling right after the exam. Really overwhelming. All I can do now is praying.
