I took BEC yesterday – my first exam in the CPA process. Wondering what people thought of the exam?

I felt like a lot of the stuff that i expected to be covered on there was not.

Hey everyone! Has anyone else done the AICPA recently released questions for BEC? I usually do them for all my exams and always find them pretty difficult. I just did them for BEC and they seem really straight forward…does this mean that questions/topics like these are most likely to NOT be on the exam?

I am just now starting tonight. I took a little break and slacked off for an hour but I am forcing myself to sit down and cram. I am going to rewrite formulas until I have them all memorized and then work on some cost accounting and analyses MC questions.

@Kelly I always find that the MC questions on the exam are easier than the ones in my homework. I am hoping that is still the case for BEC.

@BigK you might want to check out the exam experience thread. Most people posting in here have not taken it yet.

@littlenumberrobot I am using Roger! Love him! I cannot imaging doing this exam without him. Did you see that he came out with a new APP? I am too close to taking BEC for it to be worth it but I am going to purchase it for REG. I am really excited about it because it will be so much easier to study with on the go.

@chig I was writing formulas downstairs during the debate. My hubby kept trying to debate politics with me while I am trying to concentrate on memorizing formulas so I had to come back upstairs.

21.5 hours until test time!!! I am going to work on the rest of the formulas and reread my notes a few time. I might do a few MC but I do not think that I will do too many. I want to build my confidence before the exam. Tomorrow I am going to the gym and will spend my time reading or viewing lectures before the exam.
