Hello BEC HATERS, PETER OLINTO’s LOVER and pASSers!!

I m planning to take BEC on 10/02/12. I am not sure if it is the subject or material , for some topics I literally drag myself to finish off and some topics are interesting. I never felt that bored with regulation & Audit (except audit evidence chapter) . they were always interesting .

Here’s the plan!!! I will be listing my daily plan and achievements BECUASE i am not even getting CLOSE TO MY PLAN, I was supposed to finish financial management & economics chapters by today, AND guess what – I am still on page 52 of financial management. I am so disappointed with myself.

PLAN with baby steps ..

DAY 1 – 09.14.12 – 7:00 pm till 3AM – finish FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT CHAPTER ( left with 30 pages) and practice BECKER MCQ . (at least 120)

I want to pass this at first attempt . JET SET GO!!!!!!

I am looking forward to your plans & advices ..

I have mine scheduled for 10/6. I am just starting B3 so I think I am close to being on schedule. I am spurred on by the fact that there were aren't sims for this one, which is nice. Unless I am mistaken, the WCs seem like very easy points to me. That's a bold 7p-3a time plan but hey whatever it takes haha. I am using Becker self-study as well as NINJA notes and I think that should be plenty. Good luck and stay focused

Yes, I am using becker 2011 , ninja notes + wiley test bank.

How many days are you planning to spend on B3( financial management)??? I will appreciate if you share your progress as you go!

I am also taking BEC at the begining of October (the 1st in fact). Finishing B3 tonight and starting B4(IT) MCQ's as well.

Taking EVIL BEC on 10/15…If REG on 10/6 doesn't kill me…I am sure BEC will…I hate it so much, the last time I took it I was so confident coming out. I felt like it would be atleast in the 80s if not 90s…NOPE…71..I got GOT…

I have BEC scheduled for October 30th. I took REG on August 31st and then took a full week off of studying. I am one week into BEC using Yaegar program and Wiley book.

I have BEC on Oct 19! This weekend I am out-of-town visiting my family so not a ton of studying time study time. but I am reading my NINJA notes everyday! Then starting Tuesday its nonstop studying! When I'm not working 🙂

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

I am behind and stressing. I want to have everything completed by Sunday and start review on Monday. I seem to STILL be stuck on Chapter three section two and will admit .. I lost ambition this week. Hoping to get a significant amount of study time in this weekend. I have chapter 4 done, so my goal for Saturday is to complete Chapter 3 and Chapter 5. I like the idea of updating others on if we hit our goal! Good luck everyone! And good luck to Nam .. hope you reach that goal!

I'm also taking BEC in October. The 27th to be exact. I am reviewing the Becker lectures on my commute to work (2 hours/day) and then doing the correlating MC questions in the evening. Is anyone else out there working full time while they study?

Working full time too. I set a specific time and place in the evening, that will force me to not do anything else but study! Sometimes I go over my targeted hours but at least meet the minimum desired study time. However, going through the material is taking longer than I thought. How do you review while commuting?

@CPAanick: Yes i work full time, its hard for me to study during commute , i just review Ninja notes sometimes , most of the time i just want to relax during my commute.

So i somehow accomplished my Day 1 plan ( Financial Mangaement Finished) except i have to do 80 MCQ

09.15.12 – DAY 2

11am to 2PM: Operational Management with 40 becker MCQ.

3Pm : 8PM – Strategic planning (Planning techniques ) with 100 MCQ

9PM – 1 AM – Budget & Analysis
