Not enough apparently, used roger and surgent. I didnt get to study as much as I would have liked to.
But other than memorizing everything coso related I dont think more study time would have helped.

I normally pound mcq, it worked for far and I feel good about aud. But so much that I got hit with today I hadnt seen before.

at least the good news is we are all seemingly getting hit by stuff we've never seen before. especially IT stuff.
4 hours left until the time of reckoning. trying to stay calm…

The good thing is it feels like a cakewalk after far. Not nearly the beating, id rather retake bec twice than go through far again.

I just took BEC. I really can't believe how much COSO/IT there was. It's hard to understand that they test those two topics so much. I had to make educated guesses on quite a few. Sims were not as extensive as I thought they would be. Formulas included on two of them. 3 were easier than the other. It was a tough area that's heavily tested and has been a tough area for me. If you are prepared you will breeze through the SIMs. WCs were a little vague but I tried to stay on topic and proofread everything twice. Time was not an issue. Finished with 25 min left. I felt prepared with everything but IT. I honestly don't know how you are supposed to prepare for some of those questions. I used Becker and Ninja MCQs. Good luck to everybody on September 19th!!

Well… Pretty sure I failed BEC today due to the brutal amount of COSO/IT. It'll be a nice break until 19th though.

Just finished BEC. Can confirm with what everyone said above. Also saw a few things Becker did not go over on and maybe skimmed.

Well.. 9/19 will be a huge day… hoping for the best.

    finished taking BEC.

there was a good amount of coso/it stuff. not overhwhelmingly so like some of you experienced. i had a good number of computational mcq as well. i flagged about 5 or 6 questions on each mcq testlet. the second testlet felt a lot more difficult.

tbs: i was able to competently answer 3/4. the last one i totally just guessed on

WC: i was able to competently answer 1. the other two im more iffy on. i just wrote down as many keywords as my brain could think of.

overall, i feel like if i did pass, it'll probably be like a score of 76. if i do fail, it'll probably be a score of like 74.

    kenckang,

You did a great job! Based on your prior posts, I am pretty much confident to say that you passed BEC. I believe your knowledge is sufficient for more than 75.

Amazing what you did with WC. Very smart of you.

Honestly, I waited for your BEC exam experience. Thank you for sharing it with us. Back to studying! 🙂

New group?! I was wondering why I hadn't received any post notifications. My test is in 5 hours and I'm nervous but so ready to get it over with. Just want to say I'm very thankful for this group, everybody jumping in to help each other, sharing experiences and encouraging words. I hope we all crush this exam so we never have to look back! We deserve it at this point!

    Hi JustEss,

Yes, I like this Forum too. Just registered this week. Finally, I do not feel like I am the only one who struggles with the material and stress. Hopefully, I will stop explaining to my cats how much I hate BEC! lol

Good luck JustEss! I am sure you want to have this behind… last exam! Do your best!

I just took BEC and feel like I took a different exam than everyone.

On my first MC testlet, at least two-thirds of the questions were computational. Granted, most were simple calculations but since most testimonials claimed there were few computational MC, I didn't bother to review them & thus hadn't memorized the formula! Additionally, SEVERAL topics WileyExcel described as being ‘rarely' tested made it into my MC. You know you did poorly when the second testlet is many times easier than your first!!! Mine had some COSO (and few IT), but not to the extent of everyone else.

Ironically, the simulations weren't bad. The first two were very straight-forward, but I was rusty on the topics. The last two were really easy but I'd bet one of them was a pretest, since they were so “experimentally.” WC topics were easy, but I was down to about 30-minutes and was drawing writers' block and just wrote down nonsense.

Already preparing for my re-take — good luck to anybody taking the exam today or tomorrow.

    Hey, everyone.

I took my exam yesterday but was too tired from the trip back to post on here. Although it seems like my exam was pretty similar to everyone else's. I totally sucked on the multiple choice. There were quite a few questions that were completely off the wall. This is the first section that I feel like Ninja MCQ didn't completely prepare me for. The questions weren't like those I had practiced. There were a few topics I wish I had studied more but even if I had all the time in the world to study, I probably still wouldn't have studied those topics just because they didn't seem big enough to consider. COSO and IT was in fair proportions, they weren't incredibly heavy like some of you mentioned. My second testlet seemed about the same as my first so I'm afraid I did really bad on them. The sims were quite easy, though. I swear I feel like I got 3 out of the 4 completely right, but since I feel that way I probably got them all wrong! WC, I don't know how I did on them. I didn't do any practice ones and only glanced over the template a few times so I have no idea how to gauge my performance. I'm hoping for a miracle here. Do you guys think it sounds like I failed? I'm kind of indifferent as to how I performed so I guess I will wait until the 19th to see how I did on both BEC and REG. I hope I pass at least one section. Failing them both would be a complete motivational killer.
