@Qlad I'm using Becker and I just got so demotivated going through the first section of hw for B2. I've only gotten through 19 questions of the 94 and most of the ones I got wrong dealt with the computations and it's frustrating to spend 3-4 minutes on a question and get it wrong. Most of the theory I am getting right.

^ ….don't worry…those questions are actually very time consuming and too long….u are far better than me bcoz i was taking 10 to 12 min doing each q first time ….first day of ch 2 and i did only 15 q in whole day ( must admit…i got so discouraged I was on FB most of the day) ….don't get discouraged….variables are tough but very logical once u understand…

I'm supposed to be taking the BEC exam next Monday, but I think I'm going to have to move it back a week or two to get more studying in. My office is moving this week (it was originally planned for Oct. 30th when I scheduled the exam) and there is so much going on that it is cutting into my study time.

Now, I just have to decide if I'm going to take it before or after Thanksgiving.

I just took BEC this morning and I honestly can say I have no idea how I did.… Hopefully the scores come soon because it could go either way for me. The Written communication wasn't that bad but I kind of BSed the topic a little but I tried my best to make it sound like it was correct πŸ™‚

Now on to REG on Dec. 5th. My AUD expires in March so I'm trying to bang 3 out by February… that's at least the plan. If I at least pass 2-3 and have to take AUD again I won't feel too bad about it.

My advice is just do as many MCQ's as possible.. the more you do them the more it makes sense but definitely read why the other answers are wrong. Best of luck studying!!

    AUD - 83!! July 2012 (Expired), July 8 2014... waiting and waiting...
    REG - October/November 2014
    FAR - Late August 2014
    BEC - 82 !!! Nov. 2013

In traditional, costs are assigned to a product, regardless of the amount of XX they use. Under activity based costing, a cost is assigned to an activity, then whichever product uses that activity the most gets assigned the most cost for that activity.

    AUD - 94
    REG - 86
    BEC - 86

Any advice on studying variances? Especially how to remember the method for calculating overhead variance. I'm using Becker and they do a great job, but I'm still having a hard time “visualizing” each formula in my head
