Hi, was really hoping to not be on the November study section… but unfortunately I failed my BEC exam. I am thoroughly confused. I feel as though I couldn't have been more prepared. I used Becker, completed all of the homework etc and then spent 6 weeks doing the practice exams. ( getting 80's and 90's). I felt complete dismay when I began the exam and found many questions that were completely out of the blue. Becker was pretty good in preparing me for AUD, REG and FAR, but I feel they completely missed the boat on BEC. This was to be my last exam and I was going to be finished. SO disappointed. I would greatly appreciate some feedback on alternative study materials. I would like to sit in November.

@sdmoore-what year were you using? BEC is my last exam and I just started studying using Becker 2013. I always add Wiley online test bank to my study materials. I find the Wiley mcqs are different than Becker's. I really feel like it gives me a more rounded set of knowledge going into my exams. It's worked for me so far – a first time pass on three of the exams. Good luck!

@neika822 I know what you mean! BEC is my last exam, I failed it previously with a 70 🙁 But now that I know I have until the end of November, its feeling hard to get started.

I just finished the first study unit in my review material. Is there not a research tab with the written communications on the exam? I ended up looking at my review material to formulate a half way decent memo. I think the written communications is going to be much harder than I anticipated.

@jw_83 there is not a research on BEC. There are only three written communications. There isn't any authoritative literature either.
