Jennifer I did the exact same thing as soon as I found out in this thread. Thank GOD for A71! πŸ˜‰

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! πŸ˜€

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently πŸ™‚

How is everyone doing with their study schedule? I am desperately trying to catch up this weekend after a train wreck of a week at work! Just finished Becker B5 (Economic Concepts) and averaged 79%. Feeling confident to keep going but still have so much to go…B6 next and then tackling that dreaded B2. Goal is to be done with B6, B2 and B3 this weekend so I have a few days to review before my test. I want to be done with BEC!

Jumping in – I had a break between my previous 3 exams and my final – BEC. I took a promotion back in mid June and all heck broke loose – it was fiscal year end, audits, reporting, etc… not a good three months.

I'm finally to a point where my job is under control an have been studying half heartedly for a month. Reading the fails and retakes is a big reality check for me as I think I've been telling myself that BEC will not be hard.

Thanks for scaring me back into strong studying.

Gotta go knock out the rest of IT.

    FAR 11/2012: 80
    AUD 2/19/2013: 90
    REG 5/14/2013: 76
    BEC 11/2013: 85
    Ethics: 100
    Waiting on the packet....

    @Amay

I have B6 left. I'm having two exams each week for the next two weeks (for graduate school), so I have to study for those tests. Luckily I'm ahead of my schedule, I am supposed to only finish B4 for this week. I'll have to study B6 after my four exams.

    Good luck studying, everybody!

    I Can Do This!!!!!

    BEC: 89
    AUD: 99
    REG: 93
    FAR: 8/2/2014

I'm doing the B1 questions and the Becker book leaves out a lot of information.

Click on the ebook and read through a few pages related to the question I missed, none of the answers were even mentioned in those few pages. Pity.

    FAR - 84
    AUD - 94
    REG - 86
    BEC - 86

@Amay I am currently working through all the cost questions in CPA Excel, then I plan to do the WTB. Then I plan to work through performance measures questions today. I know where my weak points are and my strong points, so now it's just trudging through these MCQ's.

Sat – Cost & Perf Measures MCQ's twice

Sun – Fin Mngmt & Capital Budgeting MCQ's twice

Mon – Wed – Planning, Control & Analysis, and Decision Making MCQ's twice

Thursday – Conquer BEC once and for all, then go celebrate my birthday with a good stiff drink

Friday will begin my FAR studies. No time to waste!

    AUD - Jan 9,13 Pass
    REG - Aug 30,13 Pass
    BEC - Oct 26,13 Pass
    FAR - Dec 4,13 Pass

Licensed CPA in the state of Oregon

@zxiao Good luck with those exams! Sounds brutal but looks like you are on track.

@Jennifer Good plan. Stick to it! That's awesome that you have your b-day to look forward to…extra motivation! I have kinda made it a tradition to go enjoy dinner with my husband after I take each exam. I usually take them in the afternoon so afterwards I am ready for good food and to think about absolutely nothing! Really looking forward to Thursday night πŸ˜€
