Has BEC changed much since 2011? I have my old 2011 flashcards and was thinking about using them to help me memorize these formulas (vs making my own, which I might do anyway).

@neika I don't think it has changed much so I would say use them. By the way had to reschedule for the 24th because I am SUPER busy at work right now and I was already behind a week because I got sick…it's do or die at this point.

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂

I've been putting off these exams for the longest time. I have yet to give any exam my all. I have failed FAR twice and BEC once. I've used every excuse in the book. I've had plenty of time to study but could always find something less productive to do. But enough is enough. I'm sick and tired of telling people that “I'm studying for the exam.” The time is now. Time to stop coming up with excuses of why I can't do this and time to get cranking. I sit for BEC on the 23rd of October. I have barely touched my study material but feel that I may be able pass this first exam with exactly two weeks of studying. Call me crazy, but I think it just might be doable. I'm using Becker 2012 material. I'll watch the videos once then get cranking on the problems immediately following the lectures. I'll be checking in periodically and wish everyone else the best as we tackle this exam head-on!

So today I took the practice final 1 for Becker and scored an 83, 71, and 83. I was unhappy bc all the questions were from the homework…one thing I liked about REG was that the practice exams hit you with all new questions. Oh well. Just gotta keep reviewing…
