For those that have taken the Becker BEC practice tests, what have you been getting on the MC testlets? I feel like a lot of the MC questions came straight from the homework MC, so I'm not sure if my results are reflective of my knowledge of the material. Thoughts?

My exam is next Saturday (12th). I'm just starting Lecture 6 today. Hope to get that done today, do notes tomorrow, MCQ's Thursday. And then Friday is my catch-up for all my MCQ's.

I hope I'm not screwing myself with only a week to review. I've always set aside 2 weeks, but then my laziness/life gets in the way. I usually end up with only a week (sometimes less) to review. Hopefully it works out for me this time too.

For those doing NINJA method, how long did it take you to get through most of the MCQs? I haven't been able to study for the past week or so and I am freaking out. I know this is my re-take but I need to take it seriously (that 73 means nothing to me), and I don't want to change my plans of sitting for 2 exams before the Holidays. Right now I am scheduled for Oct 14th but I am thinking I should reschedule at least 1 week. I am going to start working on MCQs soon, obviously not shooting to do all the questions..not making that rookie mistake again! My goal was always to have about a week for review.

FAR: 71, 77
REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂

@Amay – that's my goal too, a week for review. I also have two days prior to my exam off from work, so I hope I can use my time wisely.

I haven't really intended to do the NINJA method, but I have moved on from chapters where I didn't finish my questions. I'm hoping I can bang out those missed questions in about two days. Hopefully less. I have most of chapters 4 and 5 done, but a lot of 1-3 isn't complete. I haven't yet gotten to 6 yet. I'm really bad at doing questions, I always find distractions and I get easily frustrated, so I tend to avoid doing them.
