Okay, I'm back at it…scheduled BEC re-take for Oct. 30. I've completed Corp Gov & IT lectures & multiple choice. I'm trying to get through Financial Planning & Performance Measures this week. Wish me luck!

@THISGIRLNEEDSTOPASSHERCPA – I wondered the same. Cost Accounting is still making me humble, scoring a sad 40%. Bretton James 2.0 said B3 & B4 gets better. My exam is for 10/14.

    FAR - 50, 78
    BEC - 67, 72, 75
    AUD - 72, 80
    REG - 70, 85

To God be the glory! Forever, amen!

    @ CPA Chaser

    Good luck!!!

As far as waiting to do a new section until you pass one, that was my logic as well, until I failed REG for the third time. I realized my method was not getting me anywhere and I signed up for a different section in the same window as my fourth attempt. The result was a good one: I didn't pass the new section, but that was fine because I finally passed REG!!!

Since you are scheduled for 10/30 for BEC you might want to apply for a new section for November (also learned to never leave a window month empty without an attempt). πŸ™‚

How are people doing with their studies? I'm a little under 3 weeks away and a couple of days away from progress testing! I still haven't really focused on the writing part…

@futureCPA12, I'm scheduled for BEC on the same day as you. I haven't worked on the writing part at all yet, and feel very discouraged on this one. I'm burned out, I suppose. I did very well on the first three exams but it's been difficult to focus on this one. Not to mention the cost accounting and economics concepts just aren't “clicking” for me. I'm hoping things come together over the next couple of weeks so I can nail this one and be DONE! Best of luck to you as you continue studying!

    FAR - Aug 2012 - 87
    AUD - Nov 2012 - 84
    REG - May 2013 - 90
    BEC - Oct 2013 - 87

Economics comes rather easy to me as I was an economics major in undergrad. If you need any help, let me know.
