Thanks! I'm not sure about the IT stuff tbh. I'm using Wiley for content which feels like it covered a lot of IT; I really have no idea what to expect. I reviewed the blueprint, but people have been saying their tests feel like 70% IT/COSO.

I'm just trying to take it easy today and reviewing my trouble subjects and just doing MCQ for IT and COSO. I'm so burned out from studying I'm just like \_(--)_/ at this point

I agree about the TBS. I really wasn't too impressed. I'm glad I supplemented with Ninja MCQ but I'm not feeling that confident…we shall see.

I am very confused with this question:

For 20X1, Nelson Industries increased earnings before interest and taxes by 17%. During the same period, net income after tax increased by 42%. The degree of financial leverage that existed during 20X1 is:

    A.
    1.70.

    B.
    4.20.

    Correct C.
    2.47.

    D.
    1.68.

    The degree of financial leverage:

    % change in net income
    —————————- = 42 / 17 = 2.47
    % change in operating income

From what I've learned and seen in Becker, financial leverage is equal to the %change in EBT divided by the % change in EBIT…this question and several other questions related to financial leverage reverses the numerator and denominator and it is confusing me. If anyone understands why this occurs or if this is a mistake I would appreciate the help!

    Thanks

Does anyone know if BEC has authoritative literature for their simulations? I'm going through Wiley CPA right now and I don't see any authoritative literature in the practice simulations.

    Hello,

    I have question forBecker B4M4
In a lean accounting environment, a company accepts a special order to mame 200 units ofa product each month for the next 2 months for $130 per unit. The company sells the unit for $170 per unit with variable cost per unit at $80. The company plans to use excess capacity. By what amount would this special order increase profit?

The answer is $20,000. I don't underdtand why the solution assuming the co makes 400 special order. How do they come up with that assumption?

    Thanks for your help!
