So I took the test today and I felt my strategy worked well. Same opening statement and same closing statement with slight mods due to audience. No pressure!

I also used the same beginning on all 3 for the paragraphs, i.e. “Generally speaking,….” “Although…”

I basically just looked at released writing q's from the past and used their “perfect score” paragraphs to find wording they are looking for.

I feel good about the M/C, however, we all know how that goes sometimes. I did put in mucho time on this exam and am hoping it paid off. Anyway, onto FAR on Monday either way.

Does anyone have any tips for identifying buzz words that tell you how to calculate equivalent units when, for example, materials are added in the middle of a prossess? I hope this questions makes since… I'm obviously having trouble with “tricky” problems… So forgive me if this is not a well formulated question

I took BEC in November and failed with a 70! I recently took BEC again on January 24th and I felt awful coming out of it. The first two testlets seemed to be in a different language to me. I studied for about a month and a half and was sure that I was prepared. I felt much worse coming out of the test the second time then the first which means I fear I failed AGAIN. Did anyone else have the same experience as me? Felt prepared, sat down to take the test and it seemed like all those long hours of studying didn't pay off?

@jules… Yes I have… But it was on the AUD section I took this past January… For simulations, I had two research tabs… A large flow chart, and one task based on Derivatives! I left that test dejected! Worried! To say the least… But I passed with an 89… Six points better than my last sitting 18 months ago! So relax and focus on what's in front of you… You have done all you can at this point… You did fine! Even if you did get tripped up… It will not break you! You're a NINJA! HiYa!

On January 1 Maples had two jobs in process: #506 with assigned costs of 10,500 and #507 with assigned costs of 14,250. During January three new jobs, #508 through #510, were started and three jobs, #506, #507, and #508, were completed. Materials and Labor costs added during January were as follows:

    Job # Materials Labor

    506 $0 $2,000

    507 0 1,500

    508 4,000 3,600

    509 3,800 2,000

    510 2,600 3,100

Manufacturing Overhead is assigned to jobs at the rate of 200% of labor. What is the January cost of goods manufactured and transferred from Work-in-Process?

Okay Ninjas… can we solve this problem and have a brief discussion on the solution. This is definitely something that we are like to see on exam day based on Jeff's videos, so this is my attempt at helping us to solidify this topic in our minds… Thanks for your participation…

@ Hopeful your gonna study all of BEC in 2 weeks? Wow! I'll be taking mine end of April. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to incorporate ninja notes and audio with my becker for BEC? I got it for FAR about 3 weeks before the test but i have already gone thru all of becker. Should i do all of becker first then listen to audio and notes?
