AnonymousInactiveHow do you memorize your BEC formulas? I try to keep a running list but it seems I always find a new one when I do mcqs…
Like return versus turnover that throws me off when my brain is not functioning well.
Safety stock is another that gets me going not allot of questions on that on Wiley test bank
Don't ask about economics module..ugh demand, supply elasticity
Only few days ago I discovered that FM module was worth 19-23% how many times have I watched the lectures missed Cindy or Peter O say that little fact. Now I know why a failed the previous time. They need to put that little nugget in bold…
My RANT continues… Best way to remember the processing cost formula as well, some of the concepts make sense
IT don't ask me, somehow I've managed to get the same question probably 10x wrong, it comes up allot in my Wiley and somehow I can't remember the answer. I saw in my mcq notes that answer is on every 3rd page.

Financial management is my weakness too. I had troubles memorizing all the information. I finally found a method to study that worked for me (I hope!): I would repeatedly do MCQ in sets of 20 just on this area. For every question, if I didn't know the answer I would use my materials to find the answer, I would then write a brief statement in a note book, I repeated this over and over, writing down formulas every time I couldn't remember it.
I found that I finally began to remember the material and formulas!!
Hope this helps : )

jloughMember@Eliabraham– i hate ratios too. For each of my exams, I prepare a “Cheat Sheet” during my last few days of review with all the information that I've been having trouble with. I just keep going over that sheet until I go into my exam. My BEC cheat sheet is about 50% ratios :/
I would definitely recommend having the ROI ratio memorized– especially how it breaks out in the DuPont approach. I've noticed a ton of questions on this ratio in the review materials (Im using CPAExcel) so this is the one ratio that I MUST memorize.
F- 7/13- 84
R- 10/13- 79
A- 11/13- 99
B- 1/14- 86Licensed in PA- 3/20/2014
This exam ALMOST defeated me back in 2006-2008, but I came back and WON!

AnonymousInactiveJust took the first Becker practice exam and got a 95% on Test 1 & 3 and an 85% on Test 2… this freaks me out because I got 60-80%'s on the first 3 exam sections. Hopefully my practice test scores and real test scores aren't inversely related..haha. This test is really giving me the creeps because I am having a hard time seeing the “big picture” like I did with the other sections. I am especially hating the IT section.

jw_83MemberCan anyone explain the PURE DADS memory aid to me. I don't have Becker, but I remember someone posting something about this for variances. I don't usually use memory aids, but I just can't seem to get a grasp on variances.

FAR - 77
AUD - 79
