Do you guys have any idea about the testing time of each testlet? I mean is there any time limit for each testlet to finish it in stipulated time or we can finish it according to our time management within 4 hours??
31 MCQ 1st Test-let 45 min (based off the accuracy of your answers the 2nd test-let a get harder or easier)
31 MCQ 2nd Test-let 45 min
3 Written Communication 45 min
5 Task based Simulation 1hour & 45 min

Thank you for your reply. But on AICPA website, it was mentioned that you will be allowed for optional std 15 min break after 3rd testlet(1st sim) which will be after 2 hours that means should we have to complete both MCQS and 1 Sim testlet in 2 hours??
Hi,
As what I see (at Pennsylvania), the application fee is $105, plus $195. If I retake the same, I have to pay the same amount. If I apply to two sections, the fee is the same $ 105, but the other charge is double, $ 195 each.
Is it not insane or am I doing something wrong?
I scored a 74 on BEC. Can anyone share from their experiences on appealing the AICPA for a re-score? Also, note that I was weaker in MC and comparable in written communication. How does that effect my chances of them finding one extra point? Is it worth a shot?
Well I got a 74. I hate 74. It's like a slap in the face. Like they should only give you a 71 and under if they aren't going to pass you. I plan on retaking it at the end of April. I use the Ninja notes and MCQs. I had also bought the Roger, CPA cram flash drive because its good for like 8 months. Now I wonder if that was a bad idea since it is not updated for the new “updated” exam. I didn't want to buy the 2 month online cram course as it becomes useless if you don't pass and have to purchase another 2 month accesss. Now I am debating whether the old cram is enough, buy the 2 month online cram or just buy the full BEC course from Roger. I need this to be the last time I take BEC. Audit credit expires 10/4 and I still have to pass FAR. Any thoughts and/or words of encouragement as a 74 made me give up the fight a few years back. I have two sections passed. I am half way there, but that darn 74 is a motivation killer.
