I am so confused on how to study for BEC. Like do I need to memorize every formula?

I would personally say yes. When you're practicing problems, you're going to need to use the formulas. Soon or later, it's going to stick to your head when you're constantly exposed to problems that need the formulas.

@yehiaM: Oh Lord, I hope they didn't add anymore. The best thing is to be ready for everything. (if that's at all possible). To answer the question, I have not heard of any new things as far as concept is concerned.

I seem to be struggling on a specific chapter 3. The overall info isn't too much it's the MCQ's on the various formula's listed throughout the chapter. Would i be better off reading back through the material in order to retain what i use for different formula's? Or would it be better if i just studied how they got to the individual answer for each question pertaining to the formula's? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I found Chapter 4 to be really challenging and I am doing a combination of both, read through the highlighted sections and then work through the MCQ. I would suggest highlighting the chapter so that you have the most important parts and are not re-reading stuff you do not need. During the review process I would suggesting taking a quick read through the highlighted section of each chapter and then taking the MCQ again! I feel with Becker that the Chapter information is good review, but the MCQ make these concepts come to life and the way they are twisted and turned can cause you to get wrong questions even if you think you fully understand the chapter.

Chapter 4 of becker is on of the hardest chapters. I did a progress test of all the questions (1313) B4 is my lowest, scoring 86%, 44 wrong out of 313. I noticed someone of the questions are not even mentioned on the lecture or the books.

@mooseonloose That's what I'm experiencing with Roger too. Ninja has way more material I never saw in Roger materials 🙁
