    Guess I’ll kick it off!

    Scheduled to take BEC on 4/19. It’s my last test so I’m putting as much study time in as I can. If I pass I get promoted, if I don’t pass I don’t get promoted, so the pressure is on!!

    Good luck to everyone taking BEC this quarter!

    Thanks, Mints. I just found out that my corporate tax classes final is open book so that basically means I won't have to study for it so more time for BEC. I feel good about most concepts, except IT! Does anyone know how Becker fairs with other study materials on the depth/amount of coverage for IT? Should I be seeking other alternative sources?

    Would someone please confirm that I would be crazy to move my test up a week?

    So1913: I found where Becker mentions EIS for Info Technology. You would have taken the note on B4 pg 4 and all it states is that EIS take orders from customers?

    bcjasper, it is crazy, but if you feel you are ready, definitely do it. I never do that since i never feel i am ready for any of the exam.

    bcjasper09 wait till 5/28…

    the way i think about hedging is whatever you have, do stuff in the opposite direction. so if you have A/R, sell; if you have A/P, buy.

    @bjasper09 I it was ES I was looking for (Expert Systems) but I see it on pg 4 under the DSS part in the last sentence. It says it's another name for DSS. Thanks!

    @bcjasper,

    You've been studying since last week… after your FAR exam?

    Can you talk more about your studying technique for BEC… you seem to just get it.

    As for pushing the date up… I personally would rather wait another week and save $35 (or however amount).

    Anybody can help me solve this question. I suddenly couldn't think about it.

    Flatbush corporation has a standard costing system for each of its products.The standard direct material cost to produce a unit of it's premier product Book is 4 pounds of material at $2.50 per pound, or $10 per unit. During may 20×1, 8400 pounds of material cost $20160 were purchased and used to produce 2000 units of Brook. What was the materials price variance for may 20×1?

    it's the difference between $20,160 and 8400 x $2.50

    AQAP vs. AQSP
