jeffKeymasterGuess I’ll kick it off!
Scheduled to take BEC on 4/19. It’s my last test so I’m putting as much study time in as I can. If I pass I get promoted, if I don’t pass I don’t get promoted, so the pressure is on!!
Good luck to everyone taking BEC this quarter!

TootsieMemberFinished reading and writing my notes for B3. Will do the practice questions this weekend. I am so glad I pushed back my exam to July. I still have 3 chapters and the writing section left to study.
On another note, it is going to be another beautiful day in Boston. Taking my doggie to the dog park. I found one in the city, yay!

GoodsParticipantFor those who have take BEC and used Becker, did you find that the Written Communication simulations helped prepare you for the real thing? I am trying to figure out how much time I should devote to preparing for this section. Thanks.

whatamidoingMemberGoing through a few flashcards and then going to bed. I probably feel the least prepared for this exam (or maybe REG). If I don't know it now, I won't know it for tomorrow morning. I'm just looking forward to a few weeks of not studying and daydreaming of a 75 or higher so I can be done. Hopefully tomorrow goes well. Good luck to anyone else taking it tomorrow!

Jennifer241Member@Goods If you are a good writer, with good punctuation and grammar then I say skip it. If you lack in those area's then you probably need to do some practice simulations.

I feel like I wasted yesterday as a time to study. I spent maybe 45 minutes in the whole day. But back at it today!!

AnonymousInactiveHey guys, exam is tomorrow! Quick question, how much time do you dedicate to practicing the written communications? Since you are essentially grading yourself, it's more form over substance it seems, so I am more focusing on multiple choice here. What do you think?
Any tips on how to prepare for the WCs?
Thanks.

MelansMember@CPAforeigner – with less than 24 hours to go, I might focus on MC questions. However, it may be beneficial to read some examples and just think through the answer in your head. Go over how you would answer it in your head and not necessarily actually writing it out.

whatamidoingMemberWell, I'm glad I at least don't have to worry about studying for the next few weeks. I honestly have no idea if I'll see a passing or failing score. I will say though, I don't think I could have been any more prepared for that exam. The questions I had no clue on were just so ridiculous and frankly, didn't make much sense.
I BS'd 2 of the WCs but after reading through my answers, it sounded like I knew what I was talking about, even though I didn't. I'm glad I didn't waste my time practicing those. If you know how to write correctly, don't waste your time on practicing it.

teeteenounoucheMemberMy BEC exam is in 11 days. I am going over MC questions and reading the explanations as I go. I stopped writing for now so that I can get through as many questions as possible before my two day review next week (PTO days=get to concentrate totally on BEC for two days).
