Am I at a significant disadvantage if I take BEC before I take REG? I’m studying for BEC right now and plan on taking REG as my last exam (already done with FAR and AUD). I could really use some words of encouragement from someone who passed BEC before studying REG.

Also, any thoughts on study time for BEC? I’m planning 6 weeks and I’ll be hitting it hard for those 6 weeks. I studied for 6 weeks on AUD and passed so hopefully it is comparable as far as volume of material.

Any feedback is appreciated.

I think 6 weeks is plenty for BEC. I think I studied for 5 weeks, but it might have been 6. At the end, I didn't feel like I had studied enough, but apparently it worked out okay for me.

As for test order, I'm not sure why you think it's a bad idea to take BEC next? Are you concerned about repeatedly failing REG or something? BEC has a lot more in common with FAR (and AUD to a limited extent) than REG does, so in that way, I think it's better to take BEC closer to FAR. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks, Sarah! My only concern was that Yaeger suggested REG before BEC. As long as a couple people on this forum tell me it is no big deal, that will put my mind at ease.
