There is a lot of conflicting and old information on the web about the BEC sims.

Currently for 2012, there are only 3 sims for BEC and they are all writing related…correct?

Also, is there 24 MCQ’s per section or 30?

Yep – 3 written communications and 30 MCQs per testlet x 3 testlets.

This document shows 24 per testlet though. When I took it March of 2011 it was 24 per testlet, I don't think it has changed.

Yeah it's 24 per testlet. REG & BEC are 24 per testlet, FAR & AUD are 30 per testlet.

AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58

Okay thanks…I was fearing that I would get some giant capital budgeting SIM on this exam. I really dislike capital budgeting.

So I guess I will either have 24 or 30, that part doesn't matter to me. No biggie

does anyone know if BEC sims are still only graded for structure and “relavence” ie. the content can be wrong or “mixed up” as long as you get it relavant, correct grammer ect.?

@bjo – Content definitely counts, especially if you are borderline and it is actually read by a human grader.
