congrats JAN. i got an advisory score on my BEC. What does mean? Did I really pass??

yes advisory score of 75 or more is passing…your score won't change

It means you passed (if your score is 75 or higher). It's always an advisory score until they post it to your official record, which takes longer. That way if you failed you can re-apply earlier.

But wait….. you took BEC on 8/12 and you got your score in wave1????

Wow, now I really have hope to get my AUD score in wave1 too (I took AUD on 8/10)…..

CAcpahopeful2010 as Italian CPA explained above that is your score. I was kind of confused too when I received my FAR Advisory score wasn't sure if that will change :). Congratualtions !!!!

Preparingforcpa: I used Becker 2009 materials and downloaded the 2010 upgrades. I didn't do the supplemental questions or homework reading. I can't say one area was tested more than other…they are all equally tested make sure you know capital managment formulas, variances, supply/demand…basically everything. I kind of rushed thro the first two testlets to ensure I am within the 45 minutes/teslet timline. I finished the test 15 minutes earlier. So my advice give 50 minutes/testlet 🙂

Hi Financeguy:

When I left FAR I felt sick to my stomach and I was assured I failed since I left the last SIM blank (I did the essay tho) ran out of time :(.

When I left BEC i felt better thought i did better than 79 but I think BEC has many tricky questions so you have to read it carefully.

I am preparing for REG next….I am using Becker 2009 materials would that sufficient to pass?
